About livecodeLA

We are a community of live code enthusiasts in Los Angeles. Live coding involves updating a running program in real time. It can involve any programming language or environment, but it is often associated with audiovisual artistic mediums, and specific live coding tools. livecodeLA facilitates interdisciplinary live coding events, as well as promotion of the algorave subculture, and aims to serve as a hub for generative art education and research.
